Welcome to the home of Fowey Sailing!

Fowey Sailing Committee represents both the Royal Fowey Yacht Club (RFYC) and Fowey Gallants Sailing Club (FGSC) as the public name of the Port of Fowey Race Organising Committee (POFROC).

The committee has six members: the Rear Commodore (Sailing) and Honorary Sailing Secretary from each club, plus one additional nominee from both RFYC and FGSC.

We organise and promote sailing and racing events in and around the Port of Fowey, Cornwall. The highlight is the Fowey Royal Regatta, held in the third week of August, featuring racing for Cruisers (IRC & SWYTC), Falmouth Working Boats, Troys, Fowey Rivers, and dinghies.

Fowey offers excellent racing conditionsyacht races are held in the bay south of the harbour or in St Austell Bay, while dinghies and keelboats race either offshore or within the sheltered estuary.
